Polka dots+Bantu Knots

Whoo hooo!! It feeeels soooo good out guys!! Omgosh! Chicago is soo warm! I'm guessing most places are too? But as a Chicagoan, we always freak out when it gets warm, so excuse my excitement. Sunday outfit post here! (This was 3 weeks ago)

First of all, I tried bantu knots for the first time. I saw it on Zelda+Festus and I got inspired to try it. With mine, I didn't twist my hair, just the knot. I tried it out and made them big, but I realized the curls loosened up quicker, so I made them smaller the 2nd try. #Random: Back in High School (Queens College), Bandtu Knots were called periwinkles, but we never loosened the knots because it would count as 'not doing your hair' for the week, and there were serious consequences for that! Lol.

Here's my before:  I did my knots dry and a bit too tight. I couldn't sleep at night. -__-

I made a mistake of keeping them in for 3 days! My hair started to loc in the twist! Smh, but thank goodness I didn't have to cut it.

And After:

I also did my friends bandtu knots. Shes 100% natural, so her outcome was different. We ended up spending Sunday together, and had Chuckstr take these few pics of us. Fun times.

 I look Cray here ;)

I got my skirt made by my tailor in Cincinnati for $30! I love this skirt and I'm gonna wear it out. Got a lot of comments about my skirt at church and people wanted to know where I got it from lol.
